GRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION:
Dr. Danielyan graduated from the Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia in 1992. He completed residency and then research fellowship trainings upon his graduation at the National Institute of Health (Armenia) from 1992 to 1997. After moving to the USA in 2000, Dr. Danielyan did research in the area of pediatric Bipolar Disorder. Dr. Danielyan then went through a Residency training in General Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences from 2007 – 2010. He also completed training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center from 2010 – 2012.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Danielyan’s professional experience includes his academic position of an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the National Institute of Health of Armenia from 1997 to 2002. He also lead the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Armenia. Dr. Danielyan then did one year research fellowship in pediatric bipolar disorder at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He further developed his research career in child and adolescent mood disorders while working as a Research Associate at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
More recently, Dr. Danielyan joined the child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient service as a psychiatrist at the John Muir Behavioral Health in Concord, CA.
He also established his private practice as a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and psychopharmacologist in Walnut Creek and Lafayette, CA.
